The Delta Electronics Foundation launched its newest environmental initiative, the Delta Earth Film Festival, in 2022. Since March, two epic BBC eco-films, Blue Planet II and Planet Earth II, with 13 episodes, and two of Delta's own 8K ultra-high-definition environmental documentaries, Life in the Coral Reefs and Swimming with Humpback Whale, which won gold awards at the 55th Houston International Film Festival, have been shown at venues and campuses throughout Taiwan.
Using Delta's world-leading 8K laser projectors, the film festival hopes to bring the public's attention to the impact of climate change on the Earth's environment through immersive images and collaborative environmental presentations with WildViewTaiwan Nature Communication Society and Future Earth Taipei.
